(Agen Food) – Milan, 1 July. – From 3 to 7 July the best bartenders in the Como area return to compete at the Como Lake Cocktail Weeka widespread event that celebrates the creativity of the best interpreters of mixed drinks, promoting more conscious and quality consumption.

Responsible drinking is an issue that is also close to our hearts Moët Hennessy Group Italy which, by virtue of its harmony with the vision expressed by the project, renews its main partnership also for the 5th edition of the event.

This year’s theme is Fantastic Classic: a tribute to the Golden Age of mixology, a return to the origins to celebrate the savoir-faire and craftsmanship that led to the birth of drinks that have now become a cultural heritage (also) in the world of fine drinking.

Behind the counters of some of the most suggestive locations on the lake, bartenders are already working on their twists on great classics such as the Martini, the Old Fashioned or the Tom Collins: to offer a magical touch to their reinterpretations, there is also Belvedere Vodka, the number one luxury vodka in the world – available in different versions

in its precious expression like a diamond: Belvedere 10 -, Eminente, the Cuban rum created by the talented Cesar MartìVolcán De Mi Tierra, with the Blanco Tahona – a new, elegant and very rare expression without additives or added sugars which is part of the brand’s Prestige tequila collection, and WhistlePig, the most awarded American rye whiskey in the world.

The jewels of Moët Hennessy Italia’s spirits portfolio will therefore once again be among the hero spirits of the Como Lake mixology competition, the most awaited moment by enthusiasts and novices, who will be able to taste the reinterpretations of historic long drinks in the best bars on the lakefront.

WhistlePig and Volcán De Mi Tierra will be the protagonists of the fifth edition of the Como Lake Cocktail Week already during the Grand Opening event: special guests of the evening will be, on one hand, the bartenders of Villa d’Este, who will present Jewel Ode, their signature drink based on Volcán De Mi Tierra Blanco, on the other Paul Venturini of the Palace Hotel, which will serve the public the Banana Old Fashioned, based on WhistlePig 12 YO

WhistlePig and Volcán De Mi Tierra will also be the protagonists of two special moments on Thursday 4th July.

To celebrate American Independence Day in the best possible way, WhistlePig invites all enthusiasts to celebrate with an activation that will involve three of the competing cocktail bars with a signature based on the rye whiskey par excellence (Palace Hotel, Bottega Comencini, Sorso).

Also on July 4th, in the splendid setting of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Volcán de mi Tierra presents with an exclusive event Blanco Tahona, also known as BT, a new, elegant and very rare expression without additives or added sugars. Blanco Tahona is a tribute to the soul of the Tequila volcano, faithful to the tradition of this distillate with centuries of history.
