FLAICA CUB BENEVENTO: Once again it is strongly denounced that ASIA of Benevento pays for the rental of three street sweepers to keep them almost always stationary in the yards. Will they work this week or will they throw away money again like last week?
As we reported on February 7, once again Asia of Benevento stops the sweepers in the square, working intermittently. Vehicles that are rented for which the Benevento community pays a very high price.
“Last week was a total debacle” declares Stefania Vernacchio of FLAICA CUB Benevento “ Only 1 sweeper went out on Monday 24th June, 2 went out on Tuesday, 1 went out on Wednesday, only 1 went out on Thursday, only 1 went out on Friday 2nd and Saturday 29th, money wasted in the wind. This week how much money will we throw away for this rough management of work organization? ” concludes the trade unionist.
Certainly, since Benevento is one of the cities with the highest percentage of waste taxes, we should expect a cutting-edge service, but this is not the case. For this reason, Amendola Marcelo of the National Secretariat of FLAICA CUB reiterates once again what he denounced last February on the subject: “In addition to an obvious waste of money, with this short-sighted organization, the staff is forced to work badly and to do a job that machinery could easily do without any kind of risk, as well as a useless waste of money.
With what the citizens of Benevento pay in waste tax, it is not clear why the sweepers are not owned by Asia of Benevento and why all four are not put out on the streets to work.
“Even today we pay for workers who could carry the sweepers while they sit on the farm doing nothing“, comments the National Secretary of Flaica, Marcelo Amendola, concluding – “All of us who live in the city realize how much need there was for these means every day. Let’s hope that with this statement those responsible will wake up (this time seriously and not to give the undersigned a cold shoulder) and intervene to remedy this ridiculous and paradoxical situation”.
Months pass, problems remain, the community pays, money is thrown away.
