The Ariano International Film Festival is preparing to welcome the public for its twelfth edition. After a careful and accurate selection of works from the four corners of the globe, the organization is thrilled to announce the finalists who will compete for the coveted prizes.
The rich and varied competition will see 9 compelling feature films, 15 exciting short films, 12 innovative animation works, 9 fascinating documentaries and 9 promising short films from the world of school competing in the World section. In the Green section there will be 6 documentaries on pressing environmental themes competing, while in the Made in Campania section there will be 6 captivating short films made in the Campania region.
All films in competition will be in the running for the prestigious Hirpus d’Oro, the award depicting the wolf, iconic symbol of Irpinia, accompanied by a cash prize.
The public will have the extraordinary opportunity to immerse themselves in the cinematic universe, viewing and evaluating the finalist films for the Popular Jury Award, from July 29 to August 4, 2024, at the Sala Wertmüller and the cinema hall of the Palazzo Uffici in Ariano Irpino. Access to all screenings will be free, making this an unmissable event for film lovers of all ages and backgrounds.
