Weather alert in Friuli Venezia Giulia
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are coming to Friuli Venezia Giulia where the civil protection has issued a weather alert valid from 1 pm today and for the whole day tomorrow, July 1st.
Currently, humid currents coming from the south-west are starting to create unstable conditions in the Alps. This scenario is destined to worsen on Monday with the passage of a low pressure system, which will bring colder air higher up, further accentuating atmospheric instability.
Forecast
Sunday 30 June: The forecast indicates that showers and thunderstorms could occur until this evening, mainly in the afternoon both in the mountains and in the plains. The possibility of some isolated more intense thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.
Monday 1st July: Monday will be characterized by a marked worsening of weather conditions. Very unstable weather is expected with probable showers and thunderstorms spread across the entire region. Rainfall could be abundant and more frequent both in the plains and in the mountains, with the possibility of strong thunderstorms and locally intense rain.
