Teramo
The exhibition project takes its name from the title of a ceramic sculpture conceived by the artist for the Cathedral of Teramo and involves the placement of works, both historical and newly created site-specific, plus a permanent work.
There are five city places involved for their spiritual, social and cultural significance: the ARCA (Laboratory for Contemporary Arts), the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Civic Art Gallery, the ‘Melchiorre Delfico’ regional library and the park of the Villa Municipality where the permanent work will be located.
After almost fifty years of residences in the cities of Milan and Venice, long stays for study and exhibition activities all over the world, Diego Esposito consolidates the strong bond with the city of Teramo on the relationship between work and place. In the past, Esposito had exhibited in Teramo in personal exhibitions (the last in 2003) and collective exhibitions (Exempla 2 in 2002).
