The first round of the 2024 legislative elections delivered its verdict in the 21st constituency in the North. For the record, it includes the 21st constituency of the canton of Condé-sur-l’Escaut – less the municipalities of Escautpont, Fresnes-sur-Escaut, Hergnies, Odomez, Vicq, Vieux-Condé -, Valenciennes Est, Valenciennes Nord, Commune of Valenciennes – part included in the canton of Valenciennes Sud – Commune of Saint-Saulve).
The results in the 21st constituency of the North
The results are as follows:
– Pierrick Colpin : 23,08%
– Edith Duquesnoy : 1,48%
– Laurent Lasselin (Debout La France): 1.53%
– Laurence Bara (RN) : 43,53%
– Séverine Duminy (Reconquest): 1.19%
– Valérie Létard (LR – UDI): 29.19%.
It is therefore a three-way race that is emerging in this constituency between Laurence Bara (RN), Valérie Létard (LR – UDI) and Pierrick Colpin (alliance of the left). It remains to be seen whether the latter decides to withdraw in order to “block the RN”. Watch this space.
