This is part of the press release released by the Caserta Police Headquarters:

“Caserta Police Headquarters: “movida”, 3 reported by the State Police.

On the occasion of the territorial control services for the “nightlife”, shared in the provincial Committee for public order and safety, held at the Prefecture of Caserta, and prepared by the Police Headquarters, the State Police reported 3 people, for a brawl in Piazza Carlo di Borbone.

After the report, the police intervened yesterday evening in the square in front of the Royal Palace of Caserta, stopping three people (…). The investigations allowed – we read in the press release – to reconstruct what happened shortly before, with two groups of people who faced each other, creating confusion among those present. In the confusion, one (…) received a blow to the face, for which he was treated at the Caserta hospital. During the search for the other participants in the brawl, two people were stopped, one of whom (…) was found in possession of hashish, for which he will be reported for administrative sanctioning procedures. After investigations, the two were found to be unrelated to the facts. Activities are underway to identify the other participants in the fight, also through the video surveillance systems in the area. Other services were ensured in nightlife venues throughout the province, with the participation of the other police forces – concludes the press release – which allowed the control of over 200 people and fines to the Highway Code”.
