First minutes of the summer transfer market session because at the stroke of July 1st a new register opened, the one relating to the 2024/2025 season and theAvellino is ready to formalize two incoming operations for the goal. In the next few hours Leonardo Marson will sign the contract with the Wolves, while on Tuesday Antony Iannarilli will reach Rome and the Villa Stuart clinic to undergo medical examinations and then sign the agreement already defined with the green and white club. Two years for the goalkeeper from Alatri, born in 1990, who will be the starter between the posts in the next Serie C championship.

In the last few hours, Marson has published a photo on the stories of the official social channels in which he underlined his commitment on the pitch even in the off-season: a demonstration of how much desire there is towards the new adventure for the goalkeeper from Udine, born in ’98, coming off a two-year period opened as assistant to Kristjan Matosevic and closed as second to Alessandro Micai with a brief period as a starter just before the 2023 winter transfer market session when the Calabrians focused on Micai.

And Avellino finds a Marson between the posts. In the summer of 1974, in the construction of the squad committed for the second season of Serie B after the salvation obtained in the first historic participation in Cadetteria, the Irpinian club focused on Renato Marson. Born in ’52, from Spilimbergo, in the province of Pordenone, and therefore from Friuli just like Leonardo, he was the deputy of Renato Small in the first year and of Gian Nicola Pinotti in the second (12 appearances in the two seasons, 8 in the league, 4 in the Italian Cup). Both Renato and Leonardo Marson grew up in the Milan youth sector.
