LIVORNO – Historical memory of the Livorno community, the Livorno City Band is ready to give you an evening of special music with songs from Renato Zero, Domenico Modugno, Mina, Pooh and many others. The opportunity to listen to it in the beautiful setting of the Mascagni Terraceis scheduled for this evening, June 30th, at 9pm.
A journey where past and present will meet to create an enchanting musical experience in which homage will be paid to the major Big of Italian music which have marked entire generations and continue to be part of our culture and our hearts. There will also be space for the execution of a very particular arrangement of the most famous movie soundtracks written by the great composer Ennio Morriconewho was able to create unique and engaging atmospheres that enriched legendary films such as A Sentence, Goodbye to Cheyenne, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Gold Rush.
The conclusion of the evening will be dedicated to one of the most important composers of wind music in Europe, known above all for his music for band, the M° Jacob de Hannwith the performance of one of his first written pieces: Concerto d’amore.
