Electrip high-power charging hub inaugurated in Val d’Aosta

Electrip has inaugurated its primo hub High Power Charging (HPC) at theAosta Valley Autoportcon 10 charging stationseach with a power of 180kW.

The official launch event, held on June 25 at the Autoporto Valle d’Aosta, allowed participants to experience the new charging stations first-hand and learn more about Electrip’s vision of sustainable mobility.

The state-of-the-art facility represents a tappears important in the company’s mission to support the electric vehicle revolution and to contribute to a sustainable future

As part of its commitment to promoting sustainable development and supporting the global transition to electric mobility, Electrip is rapidly expanding its network in Europe and beyond. With operations already started in Italy, France, Poland, Greece, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia and Türkiye, Electrip aims to facilitate the travel of electric vehicle owners by providing reliable and fast charging solutions. With the creation of the first HPC stations in Valle d’Aosta, the company has kicked off its high-power charging business, which will expand further in the near future.

Sustainable mobility in Aosta Valley

The strategic location of the new HPC station in the Aosta Valley offers significant advantages. Known for its picturesque landscapes and lively tourist flows, the region will benefit from increased accessibility to high-power charging for electric vehicle owners. The facility will support both locals and tourists, promoting eco-friendly travel and reducing the region’s carbon footprint.

The new HPC station will allow owners of electric vehicles to recharge their cars in around 25 minutes, in a particularly suitable location equipped with various services, which will make it very convenient and easy for those heading over the Alps through the Tunnel of Mont Blanc.

In this regard, the President of the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta, Renzo Testolin, declares:

In this historical moment we are called to make conscious choices that can guarantee future generations a cleaner and more liveable world. Sustainability is not just a buzzword, but an urgent and concrete necessity. With the installation of these charging stations, a clear signal is given of the commitment to reducing the environmental impact of transport, a sector that is one of the main sources of pollution.

The regional Administration has always paid great attention to the promotion of the green economy and sustainable mobility, aware that the benefits of such an economy go far beyond the simple reduction of polluting emissions, since they also concern the health of citizens, the protection of our magnificent natural resources and the creation of new economic and employment opportunities.

New technologies allow us to address the challenges of pollution and climate change with increasingly effective tools. The adoption of electric vehicles is one of the most promising solutions and we are proud to be able to encourage this change by providing the community with modern and functional infrastructures.

Thanks, therefore, to Electrip for choosing to start from our small company to promote such a wide-ranging environmental and technological project.

A vision for a sustainable future

Electrip’s mission coincides with sustainable development, as it focuses on building a better world through two solid pillars: energy and infrastructure. Thanks to the experience of its shareholders in the mobility sector, the company is able to multiply solutions to align with mobility needs and trends. In addition to the hub in Valle d’Aosta, Electrip has started the construction of 70 high-power charging stations and 92 charging stations in 7 locations. By the end of the year the company will have 30 sites with 226 charging stations and 322 high power columns in Italy.

Electrip has already installed over 600 charging stations across Europe and its sister brand ZES is a leader in the EV charging sector in Turkey with around 4,000 stations nationwide.

Nicola de Sanctis, Chairman of Electrip Global, expressed his enthusiasm for this new milestone:

The launch of our first high-power charging hub in Valle d’Aosta is a testament to our commitment to innovation and sustainability. We intend to build a robust infrastructure that not only meets the needs of today’s EV drivers, but also paves the way for the future of sustainable mobility. This facility is a significant step towards achieving our goal of making EV charging accessible and affordable for all. The EV charging network in Italy has seen significant growth in recent years; however, there is still much work to be done to meet the growing demand for efficient and reliable charging solutions. At Electrip, we aim to bridge this gap. For this reason, we continue to invest in the EV charging network and renewable solutions of the European EV charging network.
