CATANIA – Catania FC announces that it has definitively acquired the rights to the sports performances of footballer Marius AdamonisThe goalkeeper has signed a multi-year contract binding him to our club from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026 with an option for the 2026/2027 season.
Born on May 13, 1997 in Panevėžys, Lithuaniamade his national team debut in 2022.
After making his debut in his homeland with Atlantas Klaipeda, first in the top flight and then in a Europa League qualifying match, the goalkeeper arrived in Italy in 2016.
The curriculum
He completed his football training in the Lazio Primavera. In B, he spent two years with Salernitana, contributing to the promotion to A in 2021. In C, he wore the shirts of Casertana, Catanzaro, Sicula Leonzio and Perugia: with the Umbrian team, in the tournament just concluded, he made 36 appearances keeping a clean sheet on 15 occasions.
