The Wing Chun kung fu, Israeli Krav maga/jujitsu and Wado Ryù karate graduation exams are characterized by various practical tests:

  • Kata or Taulù: Technical sequences that incorporate ancient traditions of recognized styles.
  • Practical application of personal defense techniques against one or more adversaries.

A day of sport and inclusion that exceeded all expectations”.

Also excited and happy for the success of the event Master Giancarlo Turco of the Vesta Academy l’Aquila who, after thanking the Niwa kai School for its hospitality, invited all those present to reflect on the true meaning of Martial Arts, that is, following an honorable code of conduct, unlike those combat sports so often fashion that glorifies violence and aggression.

He also underlined the importance of knowing how to defend oneself today, in everyday life, in a world that is now in disarray and has actually gone mad. Finally he concluded his speech addressed to the audience present with this sublime quote: “Better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener at war”.
