LARINO. We are used to reporting only the news, free from comments, from positions, from those interferences, founded or not, that add nothing to the facts. Well, today, we want to tell what is about to be a story with a happy ending. Namely, that of the new municipal sports facility in the Monte Arcano district!
The photos leave no room for a different imagination, the companies in charge, one local and two specialized in the creation of synthetic grass surfaces, are completing the work and that ‘grey’ area is now turning green and white. The colors of the grass and the white stripes that will delimit the rectangular area where the young people of Larino will finally be able to play football.
For a few weeks we had already noticed large rollers present in the area of the sports facilities. The same, thanks to the companies in charge, had been ‘prepared’ as best as possible (drainage, hydraulic arrangements and so on) to allow the laying of a neutral mat first and then of the synthetic grass. Today we clearly see how the laying of the grass has well exceeded ‘half the pitch’. Just a few more days and the entire playing field will have been unrolled.
That green gives a sense of new, of future to the city, but above all to that part of Larinese who was waiting for the construction of the new plant to be able to dream again, to be able to believe again that the glorious Frenter can rise from its ashes and return to tread the playing fields, no longer in a ‘disadvantaged’ position due to the old pitch, but in an advantageous position represented by the new pitch.
