Mohamed Jaouab is present at the resumption of Stade Rennais training this Monday 1is July, on the pitches of La Piverdière. The 22-year-old Moroccan central defender, who arrived in Rennes in 2022 from the Mohammed VI Academy in Rabat, was sold to Amiens (Ligue 2) in January 2024, after making eight appearances with the SRFC pros in official matches, but without ever coming into play. His transfer to Picardy, estimated at between 300,000 and 400,000 euros, contained a buyout clause of around one million euros which was activated by Stade Rennais.

Alfred Gomis not in the professional group

More than 20 players were present this Monday morning, under the gaze of the new Italian sports director of SRFC Frederic Massara (who will officially take up his duties on July 10), but without the international players. That is to say without the two players engaged in the Euro (Arthur Theate with Belgium and Bertug Yildirim with Turkey), those who will participate in the Olympic Games (Adrien Truffert, Désiré Doué and Arnaud Kalimuendo with France, Wilson Samaké with Mali and Ibrahim Salah with Morocco), the Africans who will not return from vacation until Monday July 8 (Amine Gouiri, Guela Doué, Alidu Seidu and Geoffrey Lembet) with the exception of Christopher Wooh already present, and Jérémy Jacquet who will participate in the Euro U19 with France in July.

Several neo-pros are present (Nordan Mukiele, Djaoui Cissé, Rayan Bamba and Alan Do Marcolino) as well as three non-professional players (Isiaka Soukouna, Noah Le Bret Maboulou and Maurice Ngangué). Recovered from his knee injury in February, Mahamadou Nagida is back in training. On the other hand, Alfred Gomis, returned from his loan last season at FC Lorient, is not invited to the professional group.
