Another weekend of intense heat in much of Italy: according to the latest heat wave bulletin from the Ministry of Health, the level 2 alert (‘orange dot’) tomorrow, June 29, will concern sixteen cities including Perugia: Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Rieti, Rome, Trieste, Verona and Viterbo. On Sunday 30, the number of cities with ‘orange dot’ will be reduced to nine: Ancona, Campobasso, Catania, Messina, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Reggio Calabria and Rieti. As is known, the level 2 alert is triggered in the presence of “weather conditions that may represent a risk to health, in particular in the most susceptible population subgroups”. High temperatures are also forecast, especially those perceived: tomorrow peaks of 36 degrees will be reached in Bologna, Brescia, Florence, Latina, Palermo, Perugia, Rome, Verona and Viterbo. Peaks of 37, instead, on Sunday in Messina and Palermo.
