MASSA LOMBARDA: VANDALISM IN A PLACE IN THE CENTER, THE WORDS OF THE MAYOR SANGIORGI
The mayor of Massa Lombarda Stefano Sangiorgi speaks out about the recent vandalism incidents involving the outdoor furniture of a venue in the city center.
“The police, aided by the examination of video surveillance images, are already working to identify the individuals responsible for the crude act of vandalism that occurred over the weekend.
For years now, the latest generation video surveillance system has been implemented in the historic center area to allow law enforcement to more quickly and correctly recognize those responsible for acts of this type with the aim of increasing the safety of our citizens.”
The Mayor, regarding the “little games” that lasted until late at night and that seriously disturbed the peace and quiet of the people, arousing legitimate complaints from citizens reported by the local press, adds: “We spoke at length with the group of boys a few nights ago to share respectful behavior towards the citizens living in the historic center”.
The new mayor of Massa Lombarda concludes: “Tomorrow, Tuesday 2 July, I have called a conference among the group leaders precisely to establish a united front on security and legality, in order to avoid exploitation by some of the minority as is already happening in these hours.
Furthermore, in the coming weeks a permanent discussion table will be set up with all the representatives of the law enforcement agencies and the Local Police in the area.”
