The Italian Cup Pointheart once again reminded fans how the Beach Soccer National Amateur Leaguedespite the preparation, tactics and technique, is an unpredictable sport where everything can change in an instant. The races of Quarter finals play on the sandy rectangle of the Beach Stadium Faro Tower Of Messina they explained in the simplest and most immediate way why beach soccer is the most practiced sport in the summer. In the semifinals there are Città di Milano, Farmaè Viareggio, Catania FC and Domusbet.tv Catania but Alsa Lab Napoli, FVG, Lenergy Pisa and Happy Car Samb have caressed with their hands the passage of the round.
Tomorrow from 9.30 all six semi-finals valid for the places from 5th to 16th. At 20.00 and 21.15 Farmaè Viareggio-Catania FC and Città di Milano-Domusbet.tv Catania will play for the two places for the final.
The semi-final pairings
- 9.15pm Città di Milano-Domusbet.tv Catania. It is a remake of last season’s semifinal that smiled on Catania (4-0). Due to the recent constitution of the Milanese club, the precedents between the two teams are all from 2023. The Etna team also won the Championship match. Milan is writing its history in beach soccer. Different story for the elephant club. If Catania advances to the next round, it would be the fourteenth Coppa Italia final.
- 8.00 pm Farmaè Viareggio-Catania Fc. Looking at the precedents it would seem like a race without history but Viareggio achieved the six successes from 2014 to 2022 with the former Canalicchio now Catania. In the last edition, with the new corporate structure, the Etna team beat the Bianconeri for the first time. If Catania wins, history will be written. If the Bianconeri pass, they will return to play in the Italian Cup final after six seasons. Viareggio’s last act dates back to 2017, among other things the only one lost. Viareggio won the other two Cup finals played in 2016 and 2012.

CITY OF MILAN-ALSA LAB NAPLES 2-1 (1-0; 1-1; 0-0)
The Poule Scudetto is doing well in the City of Milan, since the Milanese club reached the top flight last season they have not missed out on a semi-final of the Italian Cup. In 2023 Roma paid the price, this time it was the turn of Alsa Lab Napoli who lost 2-1. The Neapolitans made a lot of mistakes, Milan took advantage of it. Savarese put the Rossoneri ahead in the first half. At the beginning of the second half the Brazilian Lucao put the result back on track by scoring his eighth goal of the season. Samuele Sassari, having just set foot on the Messina sand for the first time, scored the goal to make it 2-1. In the third half Napoli tried everything, they even missed a penalty and in the end they gave up.
FARMAE’ VIAREGGIO-FVG 6-5 (2-3; 2-1; 2-1)
At the end of a very tight challenge, Viareggio wins, the second team to confirm itself for the second consecutive year among the best four in the Cup (ninth time overall). Nothing to do, however, for FVG who also this time stops in the quarterfinals despite a great match. A pyrotechnic first half, started with the black and whites double advantage thanks to Gori’s brace (up to 4 in the Cup) from a set piece: penalty in the 4th minute, a minute later with a great left-footed shot from midfield. Then in the space of two minutes FVG turns things around: first Elliott with a right-footed shot in the corner, then Spaccarotella equalizes and finally the overtaking signed by Hodel. In the second half the balance is re-established with Petracci and Leo Martins in response to Siriaci’s goal at the beginning. The Friulians strike first also in the third half with the precise shot by Lasagna, then Ze Lucas comes to the fore with the decisive brace for the ninth semifinal in the history of the black and white team.
LENERGY PISA-CATANIA FC 1-4 (0-1; 1-1; 0-2)
The seventh time is the right one. Catania Fc after six defeats in the previous matches with Lenergy Pisa in one fell swoop breaks the spell and qualifies for the second time in its history to the semi-finals (the same result as in 2018 when it was called Canalicchio). Pisa, who in the last four editions of the Cup have done wonders, must surrender after fighting until the last moment. The 4-1 with which the Etna team won must not deceive, Pisa remained in the game until halfway through the third half.
