Florence, 1 July 2024 – The hunt for discounts starts again. Saturday July 6 they begin summer sales in Tuscanywhich will last 60 days, as provided for by regional resolution 514 of 22 April 2024. There is an opportunity to save, especially if you opt for theclothing. The catch, however, is always around the corner. Here is some advice that comes from the president of Aduc, Vincenzo Donvito.
The biggest scam? The fake discount
To make sure that the balance is a real discount, the advice is to take a look around, before July 6th, in the stores, physical or online, where you intend to make purchases and write down the prices of the items that interest us. So, from July 6, visit the same stores and compare the discounted prices with previous ones. The tags must indicate the price not discounted starting point, the discount percentage and the discounted price. It is not uncommon to notice, the president of Aduc, Vincenzo Donvito, points out, that the price on which the discount is applied is higher than that offered before the sales, and the final price is the same as the previous non-discounted one. If so and you have the documentation to prove it, that’s good report it to the police urban.
Payment and withdrawal
The rules of trade and consumer code they are valid as at any time of the year. And therefore, even during the summer sales period:
- you can pay either in cash that with credit cards an ATM
- it’s possible change the goods purchased or ask for a refund if the item has a defect of conformity, or if it is broken and different from how it was presented. The exchange can be done by physically going to the store or, if it was purchased online, the return shipping costs are paid by the seller
- is worth the right of withdrawal within 15 days for those who buy online, with shipping costs paid by the buyer, and in the presence only if the dealer is available about
- if you buy a product for 100 and then decide to exchange it, the buyer he has a credit of 100 euros for any type of purchase, even for additional goods on sale
- if you decide to give up on the purchase (right of withdrawal or lack of conformity), it is the buyer who decides whether to get your money back in the same way you paid (cash or debit/credit card) or a good one to spend in the same store.
