Massimo Quaoschi, Luca Trabucco, Sara Grifoni, Federico Tognazzi and Giulia Bigiarini. This is the team that will support Sergio Chienni for the next five years at the helm of the Municipality. “With this new team – declared the mayor – we will get to work, with commitment and passion, to make operational the programmatic points with which we presented ourselves to the citizens. We want to repay the trust that citizens have placed in us; our commitment will be at the service of our community, working with dedication and a sense of responsibility. The council that will support me during this mandate – he added – is an expression of our social fabric and will work to consolidate as a dynamic and supportive community. It is my intention in the coming months to involve the municipal councilors in the exercise of specific delegations”.
Going into detail, three confirmations and two new entries stand out among the ranks of the new team. Massimo Quaoschi will remain deputy mayor, a position he assumed in the aftermath of Mauro Di Ponte’s ouster. The former council member of the Pasquini council maintains the same responsibilities as in the previous mandate, namely budget, finance, assets, organization and human resources, administrative efficiency, demographic services and participating companies. Luca Trabucco’s presence in the executive has been reconfirmed, and he will continue to be entrusted with the responsibilities for urban planning, construction and the environment. Sara Grifoni is also present, who will hold the responsibilities for education and acquire culture, promotion of the territory and tourism, previously the prerogative of Caterina Barbuti, who was not reconfirmed. There are two new entries. Giulia Bigiarini, a professional educator, is at her first administrative experience and will hold the position of council member for social policies and welfare, inclusion and equal opportunities, and housing policies.
Federico Tognazzi, a former city councilor in the previous mandate and involved in sports associations, was the most voted candidate with 313 preferences. The mayor entrusted him with the responsibilities for maintenance, energy policies, technological innovation, mobility, hunting and fishing, and relations with the city council. Chienni retains for himself the implementation of the program, public works, production activities, roads, healthcare, Civil Protection, Municipal Police, urban security, sports, commerce and communication. The first Council meeting is scheduled for 9:30 today. Among the items on the agenda, the majority and opposition group leaders, the president and vice president of the city council will be elected here.
