The electoral commission has made the result of the elections official: the workers of the Gazzetta di Parma have renewed their trust in SLC CGIL with the re-election of Claudio Nironi and Massimiliano Saccani as RSU (Claudio also elected Workers’ Representative for Safety, first among 3 candidates) , both members of the Provincial General Assembly.
Marcello Diego, general secretary of SLC CGIL of Parma, expressed satisfaction: “The response from the polls was clear: this is an important result for us. The renewed trust of the workers rewards our organization and its delegates for having been able to face the last mandate with commitment and dedication: from the renewal of the company contract (signed a few months ago) to the management of the reorganization plan. Despite the crisis in the publishing industry, as a union we continue to do our duty on rights, wages and representation”.
