The Municipality of Castorano presents its Lady of the Castle for the Quintana on 13 July: the forty-three-year-old Vittoria Ciampanella.
Vittoria Ciampanella has always lived in Castorano, is a freelance dental hygienist and also holds the role of president of the town’s Pro Loco.
“I was surprised and also very enthusiastic about the proposal – comments Ciampanella – Participating in the Quintana is truly an honor for everyone, and as far as I’m concerned, as president of the association, it makes me even more proud that the historical reenactment of Ascoli expresses that bond between territory and traditions, or rather those principles that move the Pro Loco” Vittoria Ciampanella will play a role in the Quintana for the first time, but she had already worn the Castorano lady’s dress during a historical reenactment in Castorano about 12 years ago, when the Pro Loco organized a medieval dinner.
“Our future goal as an association – Ciampanella takes advantage – will be to include in the Castorano borgo aperto event (which will be held on July 27 and 28) also a medieval dinner. For this edition, which will be a test bench, there will be the exhibition part, with local artists and artisans, and food stands”.
