Bologna, 29 June 2024 – Great anticipation for the passage of the Tour de France in Emilia Romagna it’s at Bologna. In fact, for the first time, the largest men’s professional road cycling stage race will pass through some cities in the region. When? Tour de France route in Bologna: road closures and traffic changes

Stage 2 of the Tour de France: the route from Cesenatico to Bologna
All roads along the city route will be closed from 1pm to 6.30pm on Sunday 30 June and are:
via Irnerio via Mille via Marconi Piazza Malpighi, via Sant’Isaia via Andrea Costa via Irma Bandiera via San Luca via Monte Albano via Casaglia via Saragozza outside the city gate
From 6am to 6.30pm on June 30th the following are closed:
viale Giosuè Carducci (semi-carriageway internal avenue), piazza di Porta Maggiore (semi-carriageway internal avenue), viale Giambattista Ercolani (semi-carriageway internal avenue), piazza di Porta San Vitale (semi-carriageway internal avenue), viale Quirico Filopanti (semi-carriageway internal avenue), piazza di Porta San Donato (semi-carriageway internal avenue).
The external “southern” avenues (between Porta San Mamolo and Porta Santo Stefano) will remain open until 3 pm.
On all the streets involved in the route, the no parking (also for bicycles) with forced removal to guarantee the safety of cyclists and people who will watch the race on the roadside, starting from 2pm on Saturday 29 June until the end of the event, therefore approximately until 6.30pm on Sunday 30 June.
