Festivals, music and street food: it will be another weekend full of unmissable events, that of June 29 and 30, 2024, anticipated from Friday 28. As usual, we point out the main ones: on this page you can find the complete list of all the weekend’s initiatives.

Feast of San Piero de Casteo

The traditional Festa de San Piero de Casteo reaches its 54th edition. Like every year, the event, held in Campo San Pietro, maintains and re-proposes moments of tradition with musical performances, cultural and sports activities, the lottery and numerous events dedicated to children, young people and the elderly (DETAILS).

Coldiretti village

The Coldiretti Village is coming to Venice: from 28 to 30 June between Riva dei Sette Martiri and the Napoleonic Gardens, dozens of stands will present the excellence of Italian agriculture. Visitors will be able to learn about and taste the best of peasant cuisine and street food, shop at the farmers’ market, visit the animal farm with the agri-school and pet therapy (DETAILS).

Maerne’s Blue Night

The Notte Azzurra returns to Maerne on Friday 28 June starting at 8pm, to give visitors a magical evening with the theme “Tropical Dream”. Gastronomic tours, music, inflatable games and workshops are planned. Of course, there will be no shortage of shopping: the shops will remain open beyond their closing hours (DETAILS).

Flower Festival

The second edition of the Festa dei fioi will be held on June 29 and 30 in the parish of Santa Maria del Carmelo in Mestre, in the Favorita area. The event will begin at 7:00 pm on Saturday with the opening of the food stands and there will be live music and DJ sets (DETAILS).

Ennio Morricone – Marco Polo Soundtrack

They are among the most beautiful and exciting musical pages written by maestro Ennio Morricone. The soundtrack of the drama Marco Polo, produced by Rai in 1982, will be premiered on 29 June, at 9pm, at the Teatro Malibran, as part of the celebrations for the 700th anniversary of the death of the Venetian traveler and merchant (DETAILS) .

Rumatera Concert

The Mirano Summer Festival announces the concert of Rumatera, a punk rock band that has become a cult especially in Veneto, but not only. Bullo, El Gosso and Sciukka will perform on June 30th on what can be considered a home stage: their project was born in 2007 right between Miranese and Riviera del Brenta (DETAILS).

Concert by Alessandro D’Alessandro and Roy Paci

Friday, June 28, at 9:00 p.m., Teatro Villa dei Leoni will host Alessandro D’Alessandro, one of the most important expressions of the new Italian musical generation, and the popular trumpeter and singer Roy Paci. An eccentric duo full of surprises, between singer-songwriter and a very personal use of electronics (DETAILS).

Aurora Concert

On Saturday 29 June, at 5.15 am, the Rocca dei Tempesta in Noale will be the setting for the “Aurora Concert”, the event of music, words and suggestions at sunrise. The acting voice will be that of Chiara De Pieri. Also present on stage were the soprano Sara Volpato and the Veneto Chamber Orchestra – Lo Splendore di San Marco, directed by Maestro Diego Bortolato (DETAILS).

Show by Carlo & Giorgio

The summer tour will start from the Lido and will take Carlo & Giorgio to perform in numerous locations in the Veneto region, from the sea to the mountains, passing through the historic centers, with a show dedicated to the theme of holidays. Three dates are scheduled for the weekend: Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June at the Sala Perla in Lungomare Marconi (DETAILS).

Exhibition on Burtynsky

An exploration of “large-scale industrial incursions into the planet” and the impact of human action on Earth’s ecosystems: this is the focus of Burtynsky: Extraction / Abstractionthe new exhibition on the great Canadian artist Edward Burtynsky which will be on display at the M9 museum from Friday 21 June to Sunday 12 January 2025 (DETAILS).

Over Borders Half Marathon

Sunday 30 June will see the first edition of the Over Borders Half Marathon, a FIDAL half marathon over the classic distance of 21.097 km that will connect Lignano Sabbiadoro and Bibione. The highly evocative route will offer, among other things, splendid views of the Marano Lagoon and the crossing of the Bibione pine forest (DETAILS).
