Francesco Moser visits the Icônes exhibition “I hope many people see it”

“I appreciated this exhibition, I hope many people see it. With friendship Francesco Moser”. This is the thought left by the Trentino champion – in the book made available to visitors to write their impressions – at the end of the visit to “Icônes. Three masterpieces one city”, currently underway at PalabancaEventi (formerly Palazzo Galli) in via Mazzini. Moser came down to the exhibition at the end of the talk in which he was the protagonist in Sala Panini with the journalist of the Sole24Ore Dario Ceccarelli.

The three masterpieces proposed in immersive form (Behold the man by Antonello from Messina Tondo of Botticelli and Portrait of a lady by Gustav Klimt) continue to arouse much interest in the city, which is particularly lively these days in anticipation of the Tour de France stage. To date, the exhibition has already attracted several thousand visitors just over a week before its scheduled closing on July 7 (unless extended). We would like to remind you that Icons is an initiative promoted by Rete Cultura Piacenza (made up of the Foundation, Region, Province, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce of Emilia, Diocese) in collaboration with Galleria Ricci Oddi and Collegio Alberoni and with the contribution of Bank of Piacenza.

On the weekends from 15 June to 7 July, free shuttle bus services will be organized to encourage visitors along a route that is not only immersive but also real. Furthermore, once they have obtained the ticket at PalabancaEventi, visitors to the exhibition will be able to show up at the locations where the three masterpieces are exhibited and obtain a discount for access. Without the ticket, the ticket will be full price. This is the summary of the exhibition times at PalabancaEventi and of the museums where the three masterpieces are exhibited.
