These are days in which Robur does not occupy important spaces in the city news, it is normal, and rightly so. On the eve of these days of the Palio, however, a controversy broke out – because this is what it is – which we would have gladly done without. I won’t go into the heart of the problem because I don’t know the facts in depth, but the letter from the three companies operating in the municipality of Siena, sent to all the local media and some regional ones, was not a nice gesture. It was not a joint statement, but a letter to Giacomini, at least that’s what was written in the header, to which the president of Siena FC responded clearly and decisively. I repeat, I don’t know what happened but, for sure, that letter is certainly not an example of elegance, correctness and the search for a common synergy. Problems, if they exist, should be resolved by seeking collaboration, which, as stated by Giacomini, has been sought with all companies. These dynamics are common in youth football, a wonderful world, but very particular and there is no need to be shocked if Siena, which restarts with the youth sector, is looking for young people from the area. Where should he go to look for them in Lucca or Naples? That a boy from Siena or the province wants and in some cases to return to wearing the shirt of his city, without taking anything away from other clubs, is obvious and the only way forward is that of an agreement to be sought without much animosity and with a lot of conviction.
