Split at the Botanical Gardens
Theft with broken window at the Botanical Garden cafeteria in Palermo. A man entered the premises and stole bottles of spirits and food, causing damages for thousands of euros. The police intervened together with the Scientific Police to carry out surveys in search of fingerprints or anything else that could lead to the identification of the person responsible. Images from video surveillance systems were acquired to trace the thief.
The attempted robbery
Two criminals with covered faces armed with a knife they attempted to rob the owner of a tobacco shop in Piazza San Francesco, who however reacted and made them flee. The police are investigating, having interviewed employees and witnesses. Images from the video surveillance systems were acquired to trace the perpetrators of the attempted robbery. Thefts have also been committed.
