Hot, orange-marked weekend in Viterbo: 36 degrees expected on June 29. Another weekend of intense heat in much of Italy: according to the latest heat wave bulletin from the Ministry of Health, the level 2 alert (“orange mark”) tomorrow, June 29, will concern sixteen cities: Viterbo, Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Rieti, Rome, Trieste and Verona.
Hot, red flag weekend in Viterbo: 36 degrees expected on June 29th
On Sunday 30th the number of “orange sticker” cities will be reduced to nine: Ancona, Campobasso, Catania, Messina, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Reggio Calabria and Rieti. As is known, the level 2 alert is triggered in the presence of “weather conditions that may represent a health risk, in particular in the most susceptible population subgroups”. The expected temperatures are also high, especially those perceived: tomorrow peaks of 36 degrees will be reached in Bologna, Brescia, Florence, Latina, Palermo, Perugia, Rome, Verona and Viterbo. Peaks of 37, however, on Sunday in Messina and Palermo.
