CIVITAVECCHIA – The format and location change, the quality and enthusiasm remain. The fifth edition of the literary review “Books with the Stars”, organized by the Book Faces association with the precious contribution of the Ca.Ri.Civ Foundation. this year it moves to the Pincio arena and includes two themed evenings, scheduled for next 4th and 5th July, at 9.30pm with free admission.
The theme of the first evening will be the “Women’s Fiction” and for this occasion the writers Tea Ranno, Simona Baldelli and Viviana Picchiarelli will be guests with their latest literary works. The presentation will be hosted by Tonia Bardellino, a face already known for having appeared in several RAI television programmes, and Manola Maccarini, a member of Book Faces who has given some food for thought ahead of the evening: «But the difference in language still exists today ?”. A question to which it will be interesting to know the answer on July 41st. During the evening, some pieces relating to the topic under discussion will be performed, curated by Anthony Caruana and Eleonora Bernabei.
The evening of Friday 5 July will be hosted by Gino Saladini and we will have the opportunity to delve into two genres that have always fascinated so many readers: Crime and Noir. The writers Marco De Franchi, Gian Luca Campagna and Franco Limardi will be on stage with their latest novels. The musical interventions will be performed by maestro Felice Tazzini and Gino Fedeli.
“We have changed the format and the location – confirmed the president of Book Faces Marco Salomone – maintaining the level and giving two quality evenings to the public that wants to be present”. The goal, according to the president of the Cariciv Foundation Gabriella Sarracco, is to try to involve more and more children, the youngest, accompanying them to the discovery of reading “maybe through the involvement of young bands – she explained – finding that key and that point to get in touch with this age group. The Foundation is ready, with the enthusiasm of always”.
