Appennino Foto Festival “Luce della Rinascita” returns with the fifth edition in a new, more dynamic guise, always full of exciting events with great interpreters of the photographic-literary-naturalistic world.

The meetings will take place in the wonderful lands of the Apennines and their splendid small villages, to keep the public’s interest high in places that are facing a double rebirth after earthquakes and the pandemic, to demonstrate TOGETHER the desire for recovery, rebirth and restart that we all desire.

This fifth edition of Aff is enriched by the presence of the 5 clubs associated with FIAF which will exhibit photos characterizing the 5 host municipalities.

This is the third consecutive year that i Clubs of the Province of Macerata they collaborate together, the second which leads them to talk about their territory: “The five territories of the Appennino Photo Festival” starring the Photographic Club Il Faro Civitanova Marche, the Municipal Photo Library BFI Morrovalle, the Recanati BFI Photocineclub, the Potenza Picena Photoclub, the Effetto Ghergo BFI Montefano Photographic Association.

Each Photographic Club has enhanced with its shots, the five municipalities where the Festival takes place.
In each municipality, for the entire duration of the Festival, special exhibitions will be set up that will highlight people, monuments, landscapes and places as they were seen and interpreted by the photographers involved in the project.

Through some photographic shots, citizens and tourists will get to know the heart of each country. #Aff2024

Third appointment: Saturday 6 July at 4.00 pm, inauguration of the exhibition “Cessapalombo narrates” curated by the BFI Municipal Photo Library of Morrovalle

Cessapalombo’s photographic project was born from in-depth research into characters and stories

traditions of a mountain area.
The aim is to raise awareness of the work carried out within the local community, where serenity

represents an important point of reference.

6.15 pm, inauguration of the “Calidarium” exhibition curated by the Fotocineclub BFI of Recanati

The work will focus on different images in which the members will rework the territory of Caldarola in a “different” way. The aim is not to point the lens at a land massacred by the earthquake, but to face it with optimism by giving a new vision to those recognizable elements of the place.

9.15pm, Award ceremony of the XVIII international photography competition of Asferico, AFNI, with the presence of Mauro Tronto
