The beach next to the Marina di Ragusa Tourist Port will host the third and final Sicilian stage of the FIR Beach Rugby circuit, a crucial event in view of the national finals that will be held in Paestum, Campania. The event will take place on Saturday 6 July from 3 pm on the beach next to the Marina di Ragusa Tourist Port. At 3 pm the challenges between the Sicilian male and female selections will begin and at 10 pm the third half and final party at the Spuma Beach Club.
The president of the Ragusa Rugby Union, Erman Dinatale, declared: “Beach Rugby is, for us, the best way to continue our competitive activity, even during the summer months. Our kids never stop training and, therefore, competing with the other Sicilian selections, in the name, first of all, of fun and enthusiasm, is really important.”
Paolo Sartorio, vice-president of Ragusa Rugby, added: “It will truly be a great party of fun, open to those who want to learn the first rudiments of our sport or, more simply, to those who want to spend some time in total relaxation, in beach”.

This event also represents a significant moment on a competitive level. The Ragusa Rugby women’s selection currently leads the Sicilian ranking, with excellent chances of accessing the national finals.
