On Thursday 4 July at 10 am in the Tamborrino room of the Municipality of Trani, all the initiatives envisaged by the hot emergency plan of the Social Emergency Area service managed by the RTI Cooperativa Promozione Sociale e Solidarietà of Trani, Trani SOS and You are dear to me.
The actions, which will concern both the Municipality of Trani and the Municipality of Bisceglie until next September 15th, are aimed at single elderly people over 70 who are not self-sufficient in situations of socio-economic hardship, families at risk with notification of professional social services, serious situations of poverty for single people in situations of lack or absence of significant help, from parents or from the informal network, without a fixed abode.
Active surveillance plans, telephone and home monitoring, extraordinary presences, an increase in days and hours of activity of the mobile street unit in the two Municipalities and numerous awareness-raising activities are planned. Among the innovations that will be presented at the press conference, that of the “Fresco Sospeso”, in collaboration with commercial businesses present in the two territories.
Participating in Thursday’s press conference will be, among others, the councilor for social policies of the Municipality of Trani, Alessandra Rondinone, the councilor for social policies of the Municipality of Bisceglie, Roberta Rigante, the manager of the Planning Office, Alessandro Attolico, the psychologist and service coordinator for the PIS, Alessandra Tranchino, operators of the PIS on-call service, representatives of the Red Cross and the Trani Soccorso association, first level partner for the heat emergency.
