Order of Geologists of Lombardy: Federica Ravasi new President
Federica Ravasi, 46, geologist, from Vimercate, is the new President of the Order of Geologists of Lombardy.
Previously Vice President of the Order of Geologists of Lombardy with Roberto Perotti President, Federica Ravasi is the new President.
“I thank all the geologists who wanted to confirm their trust in us. I will be the President of all with the aim of disseminating and making the profession of geologist known, especially to the new generations. We will not stop even for a thousandth of a second and we will immediately debut with an important conference on the topic of water resources. Today, Friday 28 June we will delve deeper into the water situation in Lombardy“. This was stated immediately by Federica Ravasi, new President of the Order of Geologists of Lombardy.

And in the meantime, today, Friday 28 June, at 4.30 pm, in the Aula Magna of the University of Pavia, in Piazza Cairoli, geologists will discuss the limits and prospects of water resources in a phase of climate transition. We will address many important topics such as planning and protection of water resources, but also the management of public water fees in Lombardy and water quality. During the conference which will bring together experts from the Lombardy Region, the Order of Geologists of Lombardy, the Polytechnic of Milan, the Province of Pavia, the University of Pavia, Pavia Acque, ConfAgricoltura, we will also focus on the hydrogeological framework of the Lombardy territory, on the situation of the glaciers. We will do the water balance concerning the glaciers. We will analyze the critical issues of the territory regarding the water resource, we will address the issue of drought, hydrogeological instability, the water network, but also the valorization of the resource as a source of energy. The event is organized by the Order of Geologists of Lombardy, the Rotary Pavia, the Cairoli College, the University of Pavia, the Order of Engineers, the Lombardy Region, the Province of Pavia.
