In the center of Avellino, the last weekend of the first month of summer promises to be full of fun. From today, June 28th, until June 30th, Piazza Libertà and Piazza Garibaldi will host “Bimbo Days”, the event dedicated to children and their families. The fifth edition will begin this afternoon: it will take place from 5.30pm to 10pm and from 10am to 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. Many attractions are planned for the three days: inflatables, workshops, games area, baby area, but also a space for fitness activities and many gadgets, which will be given to children, offered by the initiative’s partner companies. Inevitable, as always, are the Amici Cucciolotti mascots.
“Bimbo Days”, the fifth edition begins: fun and solidarity
“The novelty of this year – said the promoter of “Bimbo Days”, Sergio Trezza, at the press conference to present the initiative – they are inflatables. There will be some that have never been installed before. One of these is positioned in the centre of the square and is the largest in Italy, I really wanted it in Avellino because I think it is beautiful. The other, of the same size, is located in Piazza Garibaldi”.
“This year too we have tried to please all age groups with larger and smaller inflatables, baby areas, educational workshops – added the organizer of the recreational event – ‘Bimbo Days’ is now a fixed event, it is part of the city’s heritage because everyone is waiting for it at the end of June. I am very happy about this, I wish everyone a lot of fun and I thank those who accompany us in this initiative: the provincial delegate of CONI, Giuseppe Saviano, the secretary of the CISL Irpinia Sannio, Fernando Vecchione, thanks to whom we manage to attract sponsors of national importance; the Province of Avellino, the sponsors and all the people who work behind the scenes giving extraordinary support for the success of the event”.
Those who wish to participate in the scheduled activities can purchase a ticket for 7 euros or sign up for a season ticket valid for all three days – as done last year – for 15 euros. An opportunity designed by the organizers to encourage participation, especially because part of the proceeds will go to theAps Danilo D’Argenio Real Daddyan association dedicated to the late Danilo that has always been involved in promoting events aimed at the younger ones, with particular sensitivity towards local talents who wish to emerge in the artistic and cultural field. “It makes no sense to organize an event without a charitable purpose – said Sergio Trezza – and I thank the Unione Sportiva Acli for the sensitivity and availability shown towards ‘Bimbo Days’.
