The “Balconi Fioriti” competition of the Municipality of Santa Croce concluded again this year with the awarding of the three winners, underlining the importance of raising awareness of beauty, protecting nature and promoting the beautification of the city through flowers and greenery. The proposals presented were of great value and the jury decreed the following winners:
First place: Mario Iurato
Second place: Municipal Notice
Third place: Maria Cappello

The mayor announced his intention to continue the work of improving the city, bringing to the attention of the city council a regulation for the granting of contributions for the recovery of the facades in the historic center. This regulation represents a further step forward to improve the appearance of Santa Croce and enhance its places.
The “Balconi Fioriti” competition initiative has not only made the city more beautiful and green, but has also strengthened the sense of community and attention to the environment among citizens.
