The book written by Emiliano Manfredonia, national president of Acli, was presented in Rome: a discussion on contemporary challenges inspired by the philosopher Mancini

ROME – A path of confident openness towards others. This is the tool that the book ‘The harmony of glances’ (Edizioni San Paolo), written by Emiliano Manfredonianational president of the Acli, and presented today in the San Salvatore in Lauro monumental complex, in Rome.
The presentation, moderated by the director of the national press agency Dire (Dire.it), Nico Perrone, was attended by, among others, Lidia Borzi, president of Acli of Rome, Paolo Mellucci, actor, director and manager of Acli of Rome, Maria Grazia Fasoli, professor at the Pontifical Theological Faculty ‘Marianum’, Marco Tarquinio, MEP, journalist and writer.

In the book Manfredonia reflects on contemporary challenges, from the economic crisis to the past pandemic, from wars to climate change. Through personal anecdotessuch as his experience as a volunteer in a refugee camp in Bosnia or his trip to Ukraine in the aftermath of the conflict with Russia, the author emphasizes how the only solution, in these difficult times, is to start again from the other and from his human face. The national president of the Acli invites readers to be “active actors of a change where the common good and attention to the last are at the center of our daily actions.
