The Sepe brothers and their father convicted of the attempted murder of Di Dato in Ercolano

Naples. The sixth criminal section of the Court of Naples has sentenced the brothers Ernesto and Mario Sepe and their father Giovanni Sepe to three years and three months in prison for the attempted murder of Pasquale Di Dato.

The three defendants, defended by lawyers Davide Fico and Andrea Scardamaglio, had been arrested for the attack that took place in Ercolano on August 12, 2023.

The prosecution had asked for more severe sentences: 12 years and 6 months for the two brothers and 13 years for the father.

According to the reconstruction of the facts, the defendants allegedly attacked Di Dato at the height of an argument that had broken out over trivial reasons a few days earlier.

The man was hit with a knife and a hammer and rushed to Torre del Greco hospital, where he was diagnosed with chest and head injuries.

The Sepe brothers were placed under house arrest on 16 August 2023, while their father Giovanni was notified of the provision on the following 25 November.
