The Social Services, Participation, Work, Equal Opportunities sector has published the tender for the management of 44 playgrounds and green areas in the city. The contract, divided into 10 lots, includes the assignment of opening, closing, custody, surveillance, cleaning and minor maintenance services.
«The parks and green areas of the Municipality of Vicenza, which are located in the historic center and in the neighborhoods, represent a fundamental environmental heritage that citizens appreciate and experience. We want to take ever greater care of these spaces which constitute a meeting point for adults and places to have fun for children and teenagers. The tender that we are publishing now is fundamental since in August the assignments of 44 areas which make up a good part of the city’s green spaces will expire” – comments theparticipation councilor Matteo Tosetto.
The assignment will last two years, from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026, with an extension of a further two years. The overall amount used as the basis for the tender amounts to 280 thousand euros excluding VAT.
Applications must be submitted by 12 of July 24th: you can compete for a maximum of 5 lots.
