The events with the farmers’ market are back Slow Food in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Sunday June 30thSunday September 29th It’s Friday November 1st in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II you can find seasonal products sold directly by producers who offer local specialities.
But not only! Because, for the occasion, the Civic Art Collections of Palazzo Marliani Cicogna will be exceptionally open to the public from 9.00 to 13.00.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of a guided tour of the museum collection can take part in a guided tour organized by the Museum Education Service which, for this edition, offers thematic itineraries for in-depth study of some works in the museum which on a thematic level recall the experience of the city market.
Here is the program of guided tours: Sunday 30 June 2024: Still life; Sunday 29 September 2024: Flowers and essences; Friday 1 November 2024: Glimpses of the city.
“Combining the farmers’ market with the extraordinary opening of Palazzo Marliani Cicogna – which can be visited by taking advantage of the free guided tours – was immediately a convinced choice, to support both the market and the knowledge of the Palace, as well as – naturally – of the square. The themed visits also make this opportunity interesting even for those who already know him and have already admired his collection” states the deputy mayor and councilor for Culture and Economic Development Manuela Maffioli.
Participation in the guided tours is free and no reservation is required. For those interested, the meeting with the guide is at the reception on the first floor of the Museum at 10.30 am. The visit will last approximately one hour.
