Ragusa Pride: here is the program

“This is the flower”, the slogan chosen for the 2024 edition, immediately summarizes the anti-fascist spirit, fully expressed in the political manifesto.

This year’s testimonial is Lilith Primavera: born in 1981, at the turn of the 10s she contributed to the creation of the first Italian Ladyfest and toured Europe with her situationist performances accompanying electro punk bands, and then became a bassist and singer herself, also thanks to the karaoke evenings that every Sunday for five years she held in the clubs of Pigneto and throughout Italy, from the Santarcangelo Festival to the worst taverns of the country, earning her the undisputed and incontestable title of Queen of Karaoke. The documentary LINFA by Carlotta Cerquetti follows her, telling a glimpse of her underground life with other artists, musicians and performers from East Rome.

Ignorant Fairy in Ferzan Ozpetek’s TV series, Lilith Primavera never stops studying new ways to get involved: podcasts, writing, music, radio, TV, audiobooks, dubbing, fashion shows and DJ sets… anything goes, as long as we don’t forget that “excessive specialization leads to a slow death” (Ghost In The Shell).

She will also bring “Petricore” to Ragusa Pride, a short film of which she is the director and screenwriter, a finalist at the World Short Film Festival a few weeks ago.
