Alcione Milano never stops. After having achieved the first historic promotion among the professionals with the first team, the club of presidents Giulio Gallazzi and Marcello Montini has brought home another tricolor, that of the Under 19 team, beating Cavese 2-0 in the final with goals from Pacifico and Lioni. “We are happy, it is a goal that we had set ourselves since the beginning of the year – says the sports director Matteo Mavilla -. Winning the championship with the first team was important, but we give the same value to this victory. We had to make the eighth, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final and it is a great satisfaction. Projects often leave the time they find, Alcione instead gives you the opportunity to work to reach great goals. This club was born with the youth sector and the results come out in the end. We also have the Under 15 in the national final and I think it is a great satisfaction”. Already in the regular season, the team led by coach Luisito Campisi had finished with 62 points, ahead of Varesina with 46. From the eighth-finals onwards, it lined up Piacenza (3-1), Chieri (5-1), Caldiero Terme (2-0) and noted Cavese.
In general, the orange nursery has given enormous satisfaction. All the Under teams, from U14 to U19, reached the final of the Lombard regional tournament. Only the Under 14s lost in the last act, the others (15, 16, 17 and 19) all won and the Juniors went all the way to winning the national title. As underlined by the sporting director, the Under 15s will have the chance to add another laurel in a magical year, tomorrow at 6pm against Nuova Tor Tre Teste.
