The damage count continues. || The day after the devastating tornado that hit Rovigo and the northern part of the province, the damage count continues. Work is underway to restore what was knocked down by the force of the wind, an attempt is being made to draw up an initial summary report. The new mayor of Rovigo Valeria Cittadin is at work. Many municipal structures were also hit: the basement of the Local Police headquarters was flooded, the Teatro Sociale was flooded, as was the heating plant of the Museum of the Great Rivers. Many neighborhoods of the city were hit by the force of the water and the wind: San Bortolo, S. Pio X and Commenda, with about ten roofs of houses blown off between Granzette, Cantonazzo and Concadirame. “I have received videos from citizens – says Cittadin – that highlight the state of desperation they find themselves in, with flooded homes and destroyed furniture.
