Catania FC achieved a historic qualification for the Italian Beach Soccer Cup final, overcoming Farmaé Viareggio with a convincing 1-3 in Messina. The rossozzurri showed a solid and organized performance, taking advantage of every opportunity to score and defending the lead with great attention.

The match started with Viareggio immediately trying to assert itself, but Catania soon took control. In the ninth minute, Camillo provided a perfect assist for Eudin, who scored the first goal with a left-footed shot. Three minutes later, Camillo again served Jordan, who doubled the lead for the Rossazzurri with another precise left-footed shot, ending the first half at 0-2.

In the second half, Catania continued to press, but failed to increase their lead. Viareggio had a few chances to reduce the deficit, but Catania’s defense, led by goalkeeper Gean Pietro, kept the score unchanged until the end of the second half.

The third half saw Catania further consolidate their dominance. In the fourth minute, Bruno Xavier scored a spectacular goal from his own half, making the score 0-3. Viareggio responded with determination, hitting the crossbar twice with Ozu and Carpita. In the last minute, Bertacca scored for Viareggio from a free kick, setting the final score at 1-3.

At the end of the match, Catania FC General Manager Alessandro Di Benedetto said: “We worked hard to build a competitive squad. The level expressed today was very high and I am satisfied. Applause goes to coach Angelo D’Amico and his staff who in just a few weeks have created a solid and competitive group”.

Tomorrow, at Capo Peloro, Catania FC will face the winner of the other semi-final between the City of Milan and Catania Beach Soccer, trying to fulfill their dream by winning the Italian Cup.
