TREVISO – A series of acts of vandalism shook the community last night, with three businesses heavily damaged by unknown assailants.
In Corso del Popolo, in front of the Teatro Del Monaco, the windows of the Caffè del Conte have been completely destroyed. The devastation continued with the “I Droghieri” restaurant in Vicolo Rialto, near Piazza dei Signori, and the Cooofe restaurant in Via Martiri, also victims of vandalism.
THE DETAILS OF VANDALISM
Yesterday morning the shopkeepers in Corso del Popolo discovered with dismay the damage suffered by the Caffè del Conte. Not far away, in Vicolo Rialto, the “I Droghieri” restaurant was also targeted, with the windows hit in several places. A similar fate befell the Cooofe in via Martiri, suggesting coordinated action.
INVESTIGATIONS IN PROGRESS
The police immediately started investigations, examining the images of the video surveillance cameras inside and outside the damaged premises. Investigators suspect that a group of vandals hit the three premises during a night raid, moving from Corso del Popolo towards Piazza dei Signori and Vicolo Rialto.
