Beach Soccer from FIGC-National Amateur League for the first time in its twenty-year history it arrives at Messina. From 27th to 30th June sixteen teams will compete on the sandy rectangle of the Arena Beach Stadium in Torre Faro to win the Puntocuore Italian Cup.
Eight direct elimination matches a day, from Thursday to Sunday, with the Round of 16, the Quarterfinals, the Semifinals and the Finals, thirty-two matches in total dedicated to the best FIGC-LND Beach Soccer. The final will be broadcast live on DAZN. Eight matches will be available for live streaming on Youtube channel official of the National Amateur League. The event will take place in the majestic setting of a Beach Arena with 1200 seatsinside the Beach Soccer Village developed on 5000 sqm with the backdrop of the suggestive nature reserve of Cape Peloro.
As a corollary to the spectacular feats of the beachers, a series of events will take place activities, shows, mini beach soccer demonstration tournaments for children, street food, social and environmental initiatives. The sporting event is organized by National Amateur League Beach Soccer Department and co-organized and sponsored from the Municipality of Messina with the patronage ofTourism Department of the Sicilian Region and fromARS.
At the presentation press conference held today in the Arena Beach Stadium in Torre Faro The Coordinator of the National Amateur League Beach Soccer Department participated on behalf of the sports institutions Roberto Desinithe Advisor of the BS LND Department Fabio Nicosia and the member of the National Council of Beach Soccer LND Giuseppe Bosco. Among those who spoke for the NLD was also the Delegate of Messina Leonardo La Cava.
The Mayor of Messina spoke on behalf of the political institutions Federico Basilethe Municipality’s Councilor for Sport and Major Events Max Finocchiaro and the Honourable Elvira AmataCouncilor for Sport and Entertainment of the Sicily Region, and the General Director of the Municipality of Messina Except Puccio.
“We are thrilled to officially open the Coppa Italia Serie A Puntocuore Beach Soccer in this Arena Beach Stadium, which, starting tomorrow, will see one of the most evocative stretches of our coastal landscape as the protagonist of national beach soccer for four days. – highlighted the mayor of Messina Federico Basile –. An event that this Administration has welcomed with enthusiasm and a lot of synergic work, certain that it will be a spectacular event on the seashore and an occasion in which sport will be the driving force for the relaunch of the image of the City and related tourism, thanks also to a whole series of collateral initiatives already launched to offer citizens and tourists present in Messina, moments that combine sport with activities that range across different sectors. From the social one, to the protection of the environment considering – Basile recalled – that we are in an oriented nature reserve, the Capo Peloro Lagoon, and playful and convivial moments to encourage aggregation and social inclusion, crucial factors for growth of Messina and the development of human potential”.

The Councilor for Sport and Entertainment of the Sicily Region Elvira Amata expressed great appreciation for the initiative:” With great enthusiasm I participated in the inauguration of the stage dedicated to the Italian Beach Soccer Cup, a sporting event of consolidated importance which will be accompanied by considerable local entertainment full of initiatives and shows which will take place within the Village of Capo Peloro. In the initiative I noticed a special ability to combine sport with the various segments of the tourist offer” – underlined Elvira Amata. “The common objective is to significantly fuel the interest and expectations of many spectators and tourists who will certainly participate in the matches.
