The accountant from Avellino PV, reached two weeks ago by a precautionary measure in prison, is back under house arrest. This will be decided by the magistrates of the Twelfth Section of the Court of Review of Naples. According to the investigations, the two million intended for the construction of fifteen nursing facilities in the client companies and businesses of Lavoro & Sicurezza Srls would instead have been made to disappear in less than five months, with a series of bank transfers without a legitimate reason to family members and alleged accomplices. For this reason the soldiers of the Avellino Group of the Fiamme Gialle, under the orders of Major Silverio Papis, had notified the accountant PV of a new precautionary measure in prison, requested by the prosecutor of the Avellino Prosecutor’s Office Vincenzo Russo and signed by the investigating judge of the Court of Avellino Giulio Argenio and a preventive seizure decree for the equivalent of 1,894,000.
The accusations
The crimes alleged by the Avellino Prosecutor’s Office against PV and six other suspects are those of embezzlement of public funds and self-laundering. The investigations by the soldiers of the Fiamme Gialle of the Avellino Group arise from a report of suspicious transactions from the UIF of the Bank of Italy. The Guarantee Fund foreseen for small and medium-sized enterprises of approximately two million and one hundred thousand euros which should have been used for the purchase of machinery, plants and equipment to create fifteen medical devices in client companies. For which the financing was granted in January 2023. But from the Fiamme Gialle’s checks it emerged that there was no trace of the works to which the financing referred. Binding works with respect to the disbursement of the two million euros. The soldiers of the Avellino Group of the Fiamme Gialle instead reconstructed how that money had been transferred with various banking operations to other subjects, all investigated in collaboration with PV
