Concrete actions for the prevention of accidents at work and occupational diseases were the main focus of the meeting held between Inail Marcherepresented by the regional director Piero Iaconoand a delegation from Cisl Marcheled by the secretary general Marco Ferracuti. The meeting was also attended Luca TaleviCISL regional secretary, e Paolo Appollonicoordinator of the Inas patronage.
During the two hours of discussion, an in-depth analysis of the current situation was carried out, with particular attention to data relating to accidents, near-miss (near accidents) and occupational diseases. The need has emerged to create synergies between institutional and social forces and to experiment with activities capable of positively influencing the social and entrepreneurial fabric.
A shared initiative is to carry out information campaigns in the high school and in university to educate young people on how to behave in the world of work, both as employees and as entrepreneurs. Particular attention was paid to companies, underlining the importance of monitoring and evaluating episodes of near-misses, often underestimated, to eliminate potential sources of risk.
Risks that can occur in the short term, such as accidents, or in the long term, such as occupational diseases, which require the same social attention.
