Turin, 26 June 2024 – During his visit to Italy, Roy Jakobs, CEO of Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in Health Technology, met yesterday in Turin Carlo Picco, Director of the City ASL of Turinwhich is part of the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital in Turin, to discuss the challenges and opportunities offered by technological innovation
to create increasingly integrated, connected and efficient healthcare in line with the new care expectations of patients and healthcare workers.
At the center of the meeting was the visit toMultidisciplinary area composed of Haemodynamic Cardiology directed by Dr. Giacomo Boccuzzi, from Interventional Radiology directed by Dr. Daniele Savio and from Interventional Neuroradiology directed by Dr. Paolo Vaudano. This site, inaugurated more than a year ago, consists of 4 rooms all equipped with PHILIPS Azurion Clarity angiographs, a new generation platform for interventions that allows the medical team to simply and accurately carry out complex minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of neurological and cardiovascular diseases.
