Bologna, 26 June 2024 – The river overflows Enza – in Currada – and the stream Crostolo – in Bettola and between Vezzano and Puianello – with great fear and inconveniences galore in Reggio Emilia. Discomfort and fear for the bad weather yesterday in much of the region. Alarm also in Modenese and in Polesine, with one tornado which devastated Rovigo. On the front Reggio Emiliathe huge amount of rain that has fallen in the last few hours has caused very serious problems among landslides, roads closed, bridges collapsed, flooded businesses but above all evacuations and displaced persons. The damage is being counted while still the alert is not over: Yesterday evening the rainfall became abundant again. The situation is constantly evolving.
