REGGIO EMILIA – It is in the evocative setting of the Spalletti Court of San Donnino di Liguria that thebudget meeting of the Transcoop Consortiuma moment of analysis and sharing of the results of one of the most significant and historic companies in Reggio Emilia, operating in the world of transport and logistics.
After the opening of president Massimiliano Toscaniniwas the head of the Administration and Finance sector Sabrina Davolio to present the excellent results, which also confirm a closing with a for the 2023 budget profit before rebate of €3,690,744 (increasing compared to 2022 by over 500,000 euros equal to 17.7%) and, with, i revenues of transport and logistics, for the second consecutive year, which exceeded the threshold of 130 million euros, bringing the total revenue (including the sale of diesel and other services provided to Members) in euros 153.128.511.
The intervention of the general manager Luca Genitoni, which carefully and timely analyzed the main strengths of the Consortium in relation to the difficulties of an extremely schizophrenic market, which in a global panorama of instability does not prevent Transcoop from confirming very important results. Points of absolute importance, the construction of new warehouse in Gavassa and the planning of a series of real initiatives aimed at sustainability as indicated by the SDGs of the 2023 agenda, which translate into the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives for the Consortium.
Approximately 7 months after the construction site, which began on 11 November last year, the expansion of the Gavassa warehouse is taking more and more shape. The assembly of the polycarbonate paneling already suggests what the final result of the façade facing the motorway will be.
Before the end of April the layout of the new 9700 m2 was approved. The study took into account the needs of existing customers, without precluding the analysis of new storage projects.
The capacity of the new expansion will be more than 13,000 pallet spaces (80X120) of which approximately 7800 in intensive racking (with narrow aisles).
In line with the sustainability plan, the photovoltaic system project was redefined. With the very recent transposition (April 2024) of the regulations regulating the methods of adhering to “remote consumption”, we will in fact have the possibility of using, at the headquarters in via Danubio, the energy produced by the photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of the Gavassa warehouse .
