They sold cocaine and hashish wholesale in the province of Varese: criminal organization dismantled by the State Police

BUSTO ARSIZIO, 25 June 2024-This morning the Busto Arsizio State Police carried out an ordinance with which the investigating judge placed eleven people seriously suspected of the crime of possession and dealing of narcotic substances in prison.

The restrictive measure constitutes the final act of a complex investigation begun months ago by the policemen of the PS police station coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Busto Arsizio and has made it possible to dismantle two distinct criminal groups, composed mostly of citizens of Morocco, dedicated to the importation and “wholesale” sale of significant quantities of cocaine and hashish.

The Order carried out this morning has in fact made it possible to bring to justice accomplices and customers, in turn “retail dealers”, of four suspects who during the investigations had been caught with large quantities of drugs and arrested by the policemen of the Commissariat: the last October, in Cairate (VA), two Moroccans domiciled in Tradate were arrested, blocked while trying to move approximately 60 kg from a warehouse. of hashish and cocaine; a few days later, in Caponago (MB), the agents in via Foscolo brought a Moroccan from Cinisello Balsamo and a German citizen to justice by seizing around 20 kg. of cocaine, partly still hidden on the articulated lorry driven by the second and partly already loaded onto the car driven by the first, who would have placed them on the illegal market.

Therefore, two criminal groups were dismantled thanks to the investigation started from the observation of a group of local pushers, active between Gorla Minore and Cairate, emerged from previous investigations carried out by the Commissioner’s Office and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Busto Arsizio.

There are several elements common to the two partnerships: the use of warehouses to store, away from prying eyes, the drugs to be sold – in one case the warehouse in the industrial area of Cairate and in the other an anonymous apartment in Agrate Brianza; the use, to move drug consignments, of a fleet of cars equipped with hiding places activated with hidden mechanisms; the division of tasks between organisers, who “remotely” maintained relationships with customers and suppliers, and executors, who took care of the transport of the drug consignments, their transfer and the recovery of the money, thus taking on the risk of being arrested and coming for this rewarded with monthly salaries, in one case with the transfer of a bar in Milan on favorable terms and with legal assistance after any arrest.

The “commercial network” of drug buyers-dealers was extensive, including several locations in the provinces di Varese, Milan, Como, Brescia, Bergamo, Monza and Brianza and Alessandria.
